Fantastic reply by Dr. HN Ravindra when the TV anchor told him you have made medical profession a business.
“We didn’t do that it’s you and government who made patient as a consumer and called all medical services as commercial establishment that’s when you changed the equation between a patient and the doctor.
When u created consumer court for patients.. that day itself the profession became business
When u asked us to pay 'income' tax ...our service became 'income'
When u asked us to acquire trade license... our treatment became trade. 

As simple as this..“
