কানাডায় ধর্মবিদ্বেষী হত্যাকান্ড : নিহত ৪জনের ছবি, কেন তারা হিংসার বলি

ছবির এই পরিবার সদস্য ছিল ৫। তার মধ্যে ৪ জন বলি হয়েছেন বিশ্বব্যাপী ধর্মবিদ্বেষী শোচনীয় পরিস্থিতির।
সুখী শান্তি প্রিয় ছিলেন তারা। ধর্ম মানতেন। কিন্তু বাড়াবাড়ি করেন নি কখনো।

কেন তারা ধর্ম হিংসার বলি। সে প্রশ্ন সকলের।
কানাডা থেকে ডা রাজিব আহমেদ লিখেছেন, খুব ভয় হচ্ছে।
কানাডা য় যারা বাঙালি থাকি, আমরা ধর্ম নিয়ে কোন বাড়াবাড়ি করি না।
ধর্মপালন এখানে তেমন চোখে পড়ে না। লন্ডনের মত মসজিদ কেন্দ্রিক কোন প্রচার, প্রোপাগাণ্ডার মধ্যে কানাডার বাংলা দেশি মুসলমান রা নেই।
মনে চাইলে নামাজ পড়েন কেউ। কিন্তু কঠোর প্রাকটিসিং মুসলমান কম। পাকিস্তানিরাও এখানে সমঝে চলেন।
তারপরও হিংসার বলি হতে হল। এ হিংসা কি থামবে না! আমরা কি মানুষ না। ওসামা লাদেন, তালেবান,আইএস, জেহাদি মুসলিম কানাডায় নেই। তারপরও শান্তি প্রিয় কানাডার মুসলিম রক্ষা পেলো না।

হিংসা বিদ্বেষ কতল ঘৃণা থামাও।
আমাদের মানুষ হিসেবে বাঁচতে দাও।
অন্যের পাপের দায়ে কানাডার নিরীহ মানুষ কেন মরবে।

ডা রুমি আহমেদ লিখেছেন,


There were five members in this Canadian family!
They were proud Canadians and yes they were Muslims too.
They contributed to Canadian multiculturalism and Canadian diversity and most importantly to Canadian talent pool and economy!
And they loved / lived like you and me, they dreamt like you and me and even dressed like you and me! This photo is from their religious holiday Eid - hence all we’re wearing traditional outfits - for one day in a year!
They lived on Ontario, Canada. They were just on their Sunday evening family stroll in their own suburban neighborhood!
Of the five - only one is alive this evening - the youngest one. The rest were mowed down in a premeditated killing mission by a twenty year old by his speeding truck. These four (74 year old grand Ma, 46 year old father, 44 year old mother, 15 year old daughter) were killed on spot.
This 9 year old boy - seriously injured after being mauled by a truck is still alive!
For the killer; the crime of the victims was their Muslim faith.
The killer, Nathaniel Veltman, 20 - represents his own hateful mind only - he doesn’t represent any religion or race!
Let’s stop hating people for their race, religion, creed, color!
